A Sneak Peek at the Episode
[2:18] Nicki and Kate are joined by Circuit Sales System student Emma Kate, a graphic designer turned web designer, who built an e-course around how to build a WordPress website from scratch and make a career out of it.
[4:53] Before finding the CSS, Emma Kate did live launches year after year but found it exhausting, stressful, and unpredictable. When she turned to evergreen, her conversions dropped.
[6:36] The CSS course appealed to Emma Kate because it was organized, and Nicki’s professional experience as a copywriter was a huge bonus.
[8:16] Emma Kate had been live launching around four times a year for over four years before buying the CSS course. She knew that the rollercoaster of emotions that came with live launching was not sustainable any more.
[11:10] Within six weeks of switching her Circuit on, Emma Kate made five sales, which completely covered the cost of the course. Since then, her sales continue to increase each month and last month, she made around $4K–just through organic advertising.
[14:15] Emma Kate was initially worried about taking down her sales page as she thought people would not want to go through the lightbulb video. But she trusted the process and now this course is selling much better than her other main course, which is not on a Circuit.
[15:20] Now that Emma Kate has proof that her offer works after testing it organically, she can focus on making the ads work and not have to worry about figuring out what needs fixing.
[17:05] Emma Kate’s next goal is to double her sales each month, which she hopes to do through running paid ads. She also plans to put her other offers on a Circuit too.
[19:44] Emma Kate hasn’t completed her second sales sequence yet but still has new people joining her list organically through her Facebook group and opt-ins on her website.
[22:15] Now that she’s no longer live launching, Emma Kate has more time to make improvements to her course and do more coaching for the people in her program.
[23:52] After building out her Circuit, Emma Kate feels less stressed and able to focus on the things that she wants to focus on.

Must-Hear Takeaways
As with every episode, we highly encourage you to listen to the entire conversation! But, here are a few of the highlights:
“I switched it on in the beginning of April and made my first sale within the week, which I was just stoked about. They were a warm lead, they were on my list but I was like ‘I don’t care, I’ll take it’ and then within 5-6 weeks, I had paid back the course. I had sold 5 and that had completely covered the course and it’s just gone up and up from there. Every month I sell a bit more and last month I got about $4000 USD for the month. And this is me just sharing in my weekly newsletter, on my website, I share it occasionally on social media but there are no Facebooks ads, nothing like that yet and that’s how much is coming in.” – Emma Kate
“I need to get those Facebook ads and get some other things happening because I know once I put some money into that and get more people in, it’s proven, it works and I’m selling that much, it’s taken the pressure off hugely. I don’t need to live launch right now, I’ve got my other revenue streams and this is just like bonus money, it’s just really awesome.” – Emma Kate
“It’s just been a total game changer and in my life, I’m looking at starting a family and I can’t keep working this hard, it’s not sustainable, surely there’s a better way and I’ve realized now that there is and I can work less.” – Emma Kate
