Ep. 16: Making Sales While Spending a Month in Italy – Kendra’s Story

TUNE IN: Spotify | Apple Podcasts | Stitcher

Kendra Perry is a former functional health coach turned online business strategist for health and wellness coaches. Before finding the Circuit Sales System, she was burnt out from marketing her programs using live webinars and sales calls.

Fast forward to today, and you’re more likely to find her on top of a mountain in Italy sipping an Aperol Spritz as she watches the sales roll in. In less than three months, her Circuit has already generated over $55,000–and that’s without ads or any promotion! After seeing so much success, Kendra now has plans to put her second program on a Circuit. Listen in to hear how the CSS enabled her to drive sales on autopilot, while she soaked up the Italian sun.

A Sneak Peek at the Episode

[1:36] Kendra is a former functional health practitioner, who ended up creating a very niche program for practitioners that teaches them how to interpret hair tissue mineral analysis.

[3:14] Kendra then went on to create her second program: Health Coach Accelerator, which is focused on helping relatively new health coaches, practitioners, and professionals start and grow their online business. There is often a lot of overlap between her two courses.

[4:29] Having multiple programs can be challenging because your energy is split and Kendra found it hard to market two programs at once. She made the decision to just focus on marketing her business program. Her other program continued to sell without marketing due to it being hyper niche.

[6:14] After trying both evergreen and live launching models, Kendra switched to a Circuit despite being skeptical about whether it would actually work.

[8:58] Kendra launched the funnel right before she went to Italy for a month, so had limited expectations. In less than three months, it’s already generated over $55,000–and that’s without ads or any promotion!

[11:24] Kendra’s conversion rates are impressive to say the least: her opt-in conversion rate is 48%, the video completion rate is 80%, and the overall conversion rate is 18%.

[13:07] Recognizing blind spots in her target audience and digging deep with her market research interviews allowed Kendra to create messaging that truly connected with her audience.

[16:12] Kendra has plans to put her second, more niche program on a Circuit and find a way to integrate this with her existing Circuit. Nicki suggests that she could eventually set up an automation for people who are at a certain point, that invites them to opt in for the Circuit for her business course.

[17:38] Building a Circuit does require thinking, strategizing, learning about your customers, and thinking about messaging in ways that you haven’t before. But once you do it, you can go to Italy for a month and still be making sales.

[18:32] What Kendra was particularly impressed about in the CSS course was the focus on messaging and how market research was woven into the entire Circuit. With more saturation online and more buyer hesitancy, mastering your messaging is more important than ever. She also liked how the CSS worked a way to do live launching into the Circuit, without having to rely on it for sales.

[20:38] Kendra had previously used live webinars and sales calls to market her program but got completely burnt out from that. The CSS was easy for her to follow and never felt too overwhelming.

Must-Hear Takeaways

As with every episode, we highly encourage you to listen to the entire conversation! But, here are a few of the highlights:

Kendra Perry, a former functional health coach turned online business strategist for health and wellness coaches, smiling into the camera.

“It’s already generated $55,000 and that’s without ads and without any promotion. And I think this speaks to the fact that I was losing a lot of sales because people were hitting my sales page on the regular because of us ranking really well on Google but I wasn’t capturing them in anyway and there was no urgency. So I would get my five to six sales a month and that was cool but this is just capturing all of the traffic now which is really cool.” – Kendra

“It was really fun to make all that money while I was in Italy, I was like ‘Great!’ And there’s cell service everywhere in Italy, even when you’re in the mountains, so I was on top of a mountain and getting my Stripe notifications like ‘This is great!’” – Kendra

“It requires digging in and learning about our customers and maybe thinking about messaging in ways that we haven’t before. But once you do it, you can go to Italy for a month and still be making sales.” – Nicki

Nicki Krawczyk, founder of Nicki K Media and the Circuit Sales System, sits in a chair smiling looking away from the camera.
